As per thread title.
The ecotec v6's do but not the v8's
The gregorys workshop manuals for the VS V6 do up to the 2000 models in the utilities, and 1999 models in the statesmans, and EGR is not mentioned anywhere in the manual, so Id say its not used on any of these models...Even in the rear of the manual theres a supplement for VS series 111 released in may 1998(ute) ,and june 1998(statesman),and theres still no mention of EGR being introduced then either..
Thanks.
Yes, V6. (I don't think that any of the'8's have used EGR.)
I suppose I should mention that the reason I asked is I'm going to fit EGR to a Series II VS.
The hardware looks easy, just swap the upper manifold and N/S exhaust manifold, but the control is a bit harder.
I know that 1997 VT used EGR with a very similar PCM to VS (even the pin outs on the connectors are the same I think) but I was hoping that the contemporary (to VT) Series III VS bodies might have used it and therefore be an easier "plug in" choice wrt trans. and BCM/TDM operation.
