HELP needed - trouble with VR cruise control
Hey all Just finished fitting cruise control to my VR BT1 ( VR )
I can not get it to work
I have just found and read some very interesting threads some other members have put up and from what i can see and read i have done everything right ..
I Have a VR Acclaim im wrecking . Had the 2 cars side by side . Took everything off the acclaim and just installed it onto my bt1. Pretty easy job..
Trouble im having is that when i press the switch ( on blinker stalk ) to activate the cruise the green cruise light does not come on on dash. I have checked globes and fuse's and everythings fine .. I have also tried 2 different blinker stalks ..
Anyone have any idea what could be wrong ???

I think there is also a half size relay that needs to be fitted ( sits above the fuse box)
my "CRS" light doesnt work unless u give the dash a thump. cruise wont work also if under 40, no speedo, bad contacts on stalk
cheers guys... I have checked all relays , seam to all be working well. Have tried 68 - 80Ks on free way and tried cruise but wont go on... Have tried 2 stalks , power going into stalk but no power going out ( guessing thare gotta be one going out to activate the cruise )

The VR does not have the CC relay like the VS....did you install the second brake switch? - if not then the CRS will not light up.

I checked all fuses and relays just to be sure , all sweet.. i took everything from the acclaim and put into my BT1 .. just strange i can not get light to come on

also i once blew one of my rear parkers and it shorted the brake light. if the brake light is shorted/ on in any way it wont go
ill check all the lights today , brake light switch was also installed
