Hay guys went and spoke to a respected auto guy today about building my 4l60e to have the balls to back up my 355 stroker.
He said however if i aint chassing times down the strip i would be maybe better looking into a six speed manual conversion! As less loss of power and two "overdrive gears"!! That way i can have bigger diff gears and still idle along on the freeway. Plus would feel a lot more ballsy on the street.
He said to rebuild my tranny with a custom stall would prob be about 2-2500 grand.
I also said i do a bit of towing and he said towing and a stall are not a great idea.
So: Has anyone done a manual 6 speed conversion
