A stupid question
Where is the switch to turn the ceiling light on/off
The light has not worked since I bought the car. When I changed the bulb today, the light came on and I cannot find the switch to turn it off.
It is a 1996 Commodore VS Acclaim Station Wagon
My neighbour who has the 2000 model could not help me either.
The light cover is missing, but there is no sign that there use to be a switch on the cover.

At your headlight switch..there is a lever to dim your dash lights..go the opposite direction & bingo let there be light..
The light itself never had a on and off switch for the VS commodores, but you can wire one in your self i think there's a how to on it
OK thanks guys
I think I figured it out.
I first did find the switch. Turned it off and when I walked out of the car and closed the door, the light was on.
The link told me to wait 30 seconds, but I was not able to test it, as I broke the bulb putting it back in. (second one today).
Make you wonder what those mongrels at Holden are doing. Their cars are not so perfect that they can afford to play hide and seek games with their light switch.

The VS Commodore,Berlina,Exec,GTS-R all have the switch near the lights, also the Berlina has lights on both sides of the rear windows with a switch also.

My VS exec has a friggin light switch. Wouldn't they all have one?
Thats what I thought Hangman
Of course the VS exec would have a light switch.
Holden would not dare upsetting a executive by making him look for an invisible light switch. lol
