manual conversion kit question
hey guys, im looking on ebay atm for a vr manual conversion, is there a difference between the v6 and v8 gearboxes???

Different input shafts and bellhousing for starters. Probably find other bits are different as you go so not worth it really.

$500 is a fair price, whats the flywheel like, does it come with a good or near new clutch?
Personally I wouldnt pay any more than $500 for a ratty old conversion with a clapped out clutch and flywheel.
Just my 2c though I have seen people pay over 1k for a VN S2 conversion that had done over 300k with no clutch kit and a rooted flywheel.
