Very easy - all you really need is a medium sized flat screwdriver and a Phillips head.....on a cold engine just unscrew and remove the hoses taking note of which one goes where, remove the vacuum hose, unbolt or unclip from bracket and replace. You'll probably lose a litre or so of coolant which you'll need to replace. Don't overtighten the hose clamps as this can cause leaks. Replace it soon as they have a habit of 'exploding' and dumping all your coolant.

if you havent drained your cooling system in awhile this might be the time to give it a flush lol
i know when i did mine i got stuck because a few clamps had screws(had a screw driver in my car) and also needed plyers which was unexpected... the whole siuation was unexpected lol.. but yeah you might need plyers aswell![]()

Cool thanks guys I'm gonna get round to it tomorrow thanks for the help![]()
weird, just changed mine literally like a hour ago.
but yer what hako said, very easy stuff, get ready to give ur engine bay a hose cos it will lose a fair amount of coolant in the process, the actual heater tap also slides off the bracket mounted on the strut tower, so its pretty easy to pull that up and work on it with a little bit more space
Thanks kierab will get around to it tomorrow thanks for the heads up![]()
And bleed through the bleed screw with a funnel in the radiator and the heater dial in any position off cold. It's been covered a few times as to how.
