car wont start

when i go to start my car, you need to push the unlock button on the key? can i fix this because its highly annoying.

PS: i have no ignition.

i have heard you can turn the engine imobiliser off. not sure on details. owners manual should have info.

Nah i dont need a new key, i dont have a ignition, its the immobiliser. i suppose its good if someone tries to steal my car

If you have to press "unlock" before the car will start it may mean that the keyhead is not making contact with the key reader ring which is the shiny ring around the ignition keyhole.

Oh thats why its doing it, i am using my old ignition and i unscrewed them 2 screws and took out the back of the ignition, using my old ignition to turn it hahah
