ok so, when i reverse or accelerate theres a rattle on the passenger side coming from under the floor, ive had a look under the car but i found nothing...
also my exhaust rattles on idle no idea if its related
I could well be the problem check to see if the exaust is still being held up properly
the rubber things that hold it up might be stuffed?
or not sure if this will help but my gf's n14 pulsar's rear muffler use to rattle at idle.. then the tip and internal parts of the muffler fell out lol so expect shit to fall apart maybe?
Thats a big difference from the rubber holders to everything falling apart
well the wole exaust was changed about a year ago... exept the cat which i changed last week i also replaced the gaskets and rubbers so it didnt fix it
Maybe your trans or engine mounts are bad?
would that make it rattle like that though... like i reverse slow i cant hear the rattle much its more aa bad feel coming from the front left
Cameron P sorry mate I was only being sarcastic due to the fact that your post was funny but not that its funny to what happened if you get my drift
engine or gearbox mount (s) sounds like a real possibility.easy to check out, look for sagging or metal touching (or almost touching) metal. especially the mount bolts.good luck
Gearbox mounts lose the bolts from the back end of the gearbox on VN VP quite often. This is something that you can feel through your feet more than a rattle though...
Warranty Void
yea ya can feel it through ya feet.. well i now know my passenger engine mount has ripped through so ill fix that and see if it stops lol..
new engine mount on ebay $30 FTW
Be careful with those cheap engine mounts on ebay as they say you get what you pay for.
