Pacemakers - Extractors for a VS V8 Ute (Series 1 1995)

Hi All,

I live in Melbourne - more specifically Mordialloc.

I have been keeping an eye on ebay for a while now for a second hand set of VS Extractors for a VS Series One Ute V8 1995. But the ones that come up are basically no good OR are not ones that I would take a punt on.

Currently I have a 2 and 1/2 inch exhaust running, but would like to add the extractors.

Any of you guys aware of anyone that you are comfortable in recommending that is not going to "pull the blow tourch out" and burn me if I get them fitted.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

I've also been looking for extractors for v8 Vs but there haven't been any decent pacemakers on eBay for a whille.

If I were you I'd fit them yourself, I fitted mine to my v6 and it wasn't that difficult, ratchet spanners come in pretty handy for the task, also of your going for the try-y design then you shouldn't have to weld them so it's pretty straight forward in theory

thank you for the reply. I had heard that the y piece was the way to go.

Extractors (in this instance pacemakers) have been a challenge to find.

Fingers crossed some come up soon otherwise, I will consider buying new.

yeah some will defiantly come up, 700 is a fair bit for new ones, that was the best price i could find
