Cool VS Chrome Trim, Quarter Window Question

So i went out to pick and pay less and managed to get a set of chrome window trim for a decent 40 bux, however this didnt include the little triangle windows at the back seeing as at the time I didnt want to have to buy the whole window, only to get it tinted again (my cars tinted 20%)

so the question is, is there absolutely no way that I can just take the chrome trim off the quarter panel(?) windows and put it on my already tinted ones???

    Cheers

I payed 90 a side on eBay from 4blok I think it's called. You have to replace the whole rear quarter glass. Not a big job. Mine came with matching tint.

You have to use the rear quarters with chrome allready on them mate. Just take them to a tinter before fitting them, it will make it slightly cheaper.

Its usually such a let down pick n payless, u have to be incredibly lucky to get there when a fresh car has been dropped in. Having said that years ago i did score a wood grain dash an instrument cluster for my VC! Good luck bud.

So you cant just take the trims and fit them around, you have to buy windows/doors with them already on?

if your talking about the chrome around the small window in the back, yes you can take it off i did it with my calais after some one thought they wanted the chrome more then me and flogged it off my car at work. take the big piece out the goes over the drivers and pass windows then with a small screwdriver gently leaver it up there's small clips all the way along it.

as for the stuff along the bottom of the windows on the doors that is a P.I.T.A small screws and everything got to pull the rubber of the door around the window and then there's some small screws. i pulled some of a car at the wreckers never got around to replacing mine cbf
