235/40zr/18 tyres

Hi Guys I two need rim help ive got 235/40zr/18 tyres on a 18 roh rims they look pretty neat but i get a lot of scrubing front and rear just wondering what size shape might iook good with a smooth ride

From memory you will need 235/45

Are your rear guards rolled? They are the right size tyre (almost exactly the same rolling diameter as the 205/65/15s your car came with).

If you can't fix it with rolling you'd probably need to look at more narrow tyres. Maybe a 225 or 215.

I got 235/40/18s and have no problem with rubbing or scrubbing on Super lows all around.

It used to rub on the rear when they were first put on but it was a problem with the Pan hard Rod shifting the axle to the left from being lowered beyond lows. Adjustable Bar and never happened since, but the 40's do ride like shit.

Thats the correct size tyres for the 18's so they shouldnt be rubbing
