Hey guys just wondering how to replace the wire at the back of the alternator with the nut on it I want to replace the whole wire
Yeah its usually tucked into the rest of the loom that runs around various bits and pieces in your engine bay toward your battery. Not a hard job at all, just tedious and time consuming....
Can I ask why you need to replace the wire?
The end that connect to the alternator is black as soot and all the insulation and conduit is melted so I looked at just cutting it but if I did that it wouldn't reach so I thought I'd just replace the wire lol do you know what gauge it is by any chance
If your going to replace it then you will need the same fittings at each end so id ring up holden or better still a wreckers and grab it from them. Prob cost you $20.
