    Default Vs 5.0 ecu

Hey guys, did a bit of a search but couldent find anything helpful..

I'm in the process of looking for a ECU to suit my 5 litre auto, and just wondering what other vr/vs owners run in their's..

Ive been reccomended using a wolf ecu, and another good mate of mine suggested the haltech E6GMX, I've gone onto the haltech site and it says they will only suit manuals, any way of remapping it to suit an auto.

    Any help/suggestions will be awesome!

Looks like a standard ECU/ECM (although it should say PCM - Powertrain Control Module for an auto) with probably an upgraded Memcal.

Yep said already. Stock one, any tuner worth their salt can cook up a safe and very very good mail order tune for a 304. see delco (or greenfoam if you can find him)

The factory PCM is a good option and easy to reprogram, if no-one up your way does them Wolf do a plug in for the V500 that will also run the Auto, about $2200 from memory, we sell a few as the auto tuning is something not many aftermarket ecu's do. Have used them on Totoya and Nissan for engine and auto control.
