VS engine keeps cutting out

Just changed over the fuel pump, coils, CAS and a few things on a vs commodore S2 she hasnt been running for a while, i got her started and she keeps cutting out while ideling rough, even when i put my foot on the excelerator! i noticed a split in a metal pipe running from the raditor under the motoer, ( looks like tranny fuild ) is there a few things to check why shes not reving ect, thinking maybe the gaskets are rooted ect... many thanx for anyone that can give me advice or point me in the right dircetion

I would of started with the plugs, leads and fuel filter first of all... Is there any fuel in the car... if its just above empty just throw another 10 bucks in her and see how you go. I was reading a post awhile ago on here where the bloke had the same issues you had and he said there was fuel in it but the car was on a bad angle and didn't pick up the amount needed. But also make sure a vac line hasn't fallen off.

cheers ill have a look at that, its a new filter as i changed it when i changed the pump
