    Default VS- Speedo not working

Hey guys, took my dash cluster out of my car to figure out why my odometer isn't working anymore, and whilst doing that, i also changed the colour of my needles from orange to white.. Didnt figure out why my odometer isnt working, but for some reason, my speedo doesnt work anymore..?

Everyone of my mates has pulled the odometer plug on their VR-VS's for obvious reasons and pretty sure some forum members have too. Im not sure where it is but I do know they dont take the dash out to do it.
So maybe someone else can help you with the odometer. As for the speedo id say you have forgot to plug something back in or have pinched a cable or wire placing the dash back in.

Your speedo drive cog/gear is stripped. Not uncommon at all for vn-vs clusters. You need to disassemble the cluster to replace it. Do a search as im pretty sure someone wrote up instruction of the process in the how to section.
As for the rest of the cluster suddenly dying, chances are something hasn't gone back correct. Behind the cluster there is three large plugs that pust into the back of the cluster as you install it. Make sure they are all correctly located and haven't popped out before you put the cluster back in.

This plug is located on the bottom of the cluster and can be accessed with the fuse panel lowered. However, this only exists on the level 3 digital clusters.

when fitting the needle place it on at 60kph and then push it back about 5kms past zero (allows for flex in the needle) and it should return to zero when released.
