    Default Vs Commodore handbrake stuck on. Help???

    The handbrake in my vs is stuck on, i think the spring on the mechanism is broken! Does anyone know of a way I can release it so I can drive it to get fixed?

    Spring mechanism on the handle or at the wheel?
    You could try backing off the adjusting nuts underneath the car

    Ended up being the spring in the handle mechanism, so we took the mechanism out and disconnected the cable so i can drive it to work until i get a new one! Made a bit of a mess of the console but had to be done! thanks for the help anyway!

    I Had that happen once before the button had become do deformed it would not press in anymore lol. Pulled it off then all good lol
