Hey guys, iv searched and no answer has been found. When i did my fuel pump, i left the whole unit out whilst i was called away. One of the kits got to it and broke the sender. So in a struggle to fix it, i thought i did. I was wrong. It reads up and now. mostly from E to 1/8 and even sometimes E to 1/2 but always drops back to E. So we know that its the sender. That answer has been answer millions of times.
The question i have is that the fuel low warning light does not go off when it sits on 1/8 or under. Does this mean, if i drive it around on an unknown fuel level that warning light will go off like normal if my fuel is low untill i find where to get a replacement sender?
My thoughts are it would have ran off the same sender, but i may be wrong? Any help would be great thanks.
