    Default Exhaust

So looking at getting an exhaust in the coming weeks but really can’t decide what. Red back or Lukey. Any suggestions would be great.

I'd try searching YouTube...alot of people record
Their exhaust on there. If not there try searching
The forums, I am always seeing a "which exhaust" thread...
    Hope that helps mate

I have had both brands, they are much the same, main difference is what muffler / resonator setup you choose.

You could always go to an exhaust shop and have one made, a good one will change the mufflers around untill you are happy.

As said, most systems are much of a muchness, it all depends on the combo you have, ie: muffler/tail pipe, muffler/hotdog, muffler/resonator, no muffler/resonator.

I do Manta, they sound great, no drone if fitted with the rear resonator, but some people prefer louder and fit the rear tail pipe. $245 shipped with tail pipe only or add $40 for the resonator.

i run a 2 1/2 inch cat bak with a Lukey muffler and i reckon it sounds good, compared to some of the redback systems ive heard it has less of a milo tin sound in the higher revs, but then again theres some real good sounding redback system ive heard, doesnt really help you in choosing but LOL.

in this example alone, the Lukey is the clear cut winner by far! the redback sounds horrible. empty, like a well gurgling water.... ick....
