i'm looking at buying a service manual and i thought i'd ask around at what one people think is the best? it'd be for a vs series 2 calais so basically commodore 90-98 i think....
I would get a gregorys but when i went to get one today they were all out of the VR-VS gregorys so i got Max ellery not to bad i guess
gregorys but ive got both of them for my car
I have a couple of different workshop manuals for commodore, and Id recommend the gregorys ones, especially if you need any wiring diagrams, the gregorys wiring diagrams are way better than the others.
yep get a gregorys,so much better to read and understand the wiring diagrams as said above...
I've only ever had Gregory's and I am happy with them. I've still got all 4 books. Started off with VL one over a decade ago, and since it has been pulsar, VS, and now VT-VZ.
It's interesting to see the evolution of cost vs environment etc. My first VL Gregory's book had hard cover front and back and thick bright white pages. From then on, the covers have got thinner and almost paper like, and the pages are recycled type thin brown paper.
Anyway, they always have had great information and a very easy to read style.
