VS wagon suspension

My VS has had some suspension issues lately, the front shocks definitely need replacing and possibly the rears too. I have no idea how to tell if the springs are worn, but I figure I might as well lower it a bit if its not going to cost a huge amount more.

I found a couple of things on ebay, anybody got opinions if they're good deals as i'm fairly new to this sort of thing.

with the first deal, I'd have to buy some front struts too and the 2nd I'd probably just chuck on some low king springs. cheers guys

the only thing bout a lowered wagon is that if u put lowered springs on the rear, u will need to get a lowered struts aswell, but if u got a tow bar u will need to get a heavy duty lowered springs kit so u can still tow a car trailer or a tandem axle trailer, but if u dont then u gotta make sure its still road height so it doesnt scrub ur wheels, they are both a good deal, as i got my full suspension from repco and it cost me close to 1000 dollars but then again i did go hard on all my suspension points and new bushes and all that other crap, but once u get it lowered or change teh suspension u will need it to be wheel aligned again. to test the springs all u need to is bounce the car on the rear of the car, if it doesnt feel springy then u will need to replace the springs aswell

Thanks mate the first deal comes with the rear lowered shocks so i might think about going with that one - I'll double check with the seller that these are suited to tow. I'm a bit tentative to try the 'ultima' shocks as i've never heard of the brand before :S

ummm neva heard of them either, i try and get genuine as best as i can, like i said before i get all my suspension from repco, atleast i know they are new and not from a sellers point of view, they might say they are new but how can u be so sure?

I got a whole kit for my VR Wagon from a JC sponsor GSL RallySport --> KYB / Kings Commodore Lowering Packages!
I got the King Springs and KYB struts/shocks.
