Vs not starting

My Car is pissing me off
It wouldn't start and I decided to sell it and these mechanics that wanted to buy it came had a look and they said it had a dodgy earth and they used 2 jumper cables and started it
Now the car stalled as I was driving it and it's parked near my house I tried jumping it with 2 cables it still wouldn't start
Can Anyone help me on starting it

shit battery or alternator buggered or not charging battery properly

Here's the thing
Its got a brand new 600cca battery
I put a new voltage regulator
It's charging at around 13.5-13.8

I'm going insane trying to figure this out

It could be dodgey or borken earth leads that go from the battery negative terminal to the engine block and the body..Try connecting the jumper lead to the negative battery terminal,and to the engine block,then try to start it.If it doesnt go,then you may also have to connect another jumper lead from the same negative battery terminal to the body as well as the engine block..

ok ill try that cuz i remember those guys trying that when they started it at first it turned over but when i try it i just hear the starter motor once and thats it
but when i jumped it i did that i used two earth leads one to the body and to the engine block but ill try that again
