Starting problem (VS 5.0 Gear selector issue)

Hi all,

I've been having trouble with starting my VS Statesman for quite some time, although with a bit of wiggling of the gear selector from P to N and back again a few times, the car manages to start fine.

Now it won't start no matter how much you wiggle it.

There *was* a forum post with pictures of the gear selection sensor and where's it's located etc. but I can't seem to find it anymore...

Anyone able to shed any light on the problem?
