headlights dim when turning indicators on/off

I did a quick search and couldn't find anything....

Has anyone else had their headlights dim when turning the indicators on/off ??

Is this an alternator issue or something similar?

probably the regulator in your alternator.

also check your indicator stalk, sometimes the stalk wires short.

I found another post about the indicator stalk, which is my guess as I checked the alternator output under different loads when I bought the ute and it was ok.

+1 for indicator stalk, mine did it all the time, also started flicking hi-beam on when cancelling on occasion. new stalk fixed it
