    Post Installing rear speakers help

Im wanting to put my 6x9's in the back of my vr.First question..I had them in my old vn with vn speaker mounts so do you recon I will still be able to use the mounts or will I need to buy ones for a vr? Second question..how do I remove the stock speakers? I have had a play around with them but I cant seem to work it out.(im not to flash with cars).

Btw I had a quick search for answers to my questions b4 I posted this, so if my questions are in another thread please post a link to it. Thanx

Hey, i have a VS and replaced my stock rear speaker on sat,

    1. Undo the bolt for the child restraint, along with the plastic screws(they should just pop out with some force)
    2. Remove the bottom seat, its just cliped on pull up and backwards, should come off then with some patience
    3. There should be one bolt holding the back portions of the seat, undo that and remove the backs.
    4. There are 3 Plasctic type screws, a bit of force and some long nosed pliers do the job, once that is done just remove the back panel covering the speakers and there u have ur stock speakers, as for 6 by 9s i dont think they will fit in custom holes.

The VR Front covers are actually the door trim believe it or not! the trim is fitted to the covers to make it one piece. There are instructions elsewhere on the forum on taking these trims off.

just put some mounts in and and maybe cover them with carpet so they look good. as for the front trims
    1. theres two screws at thew bottom
    2. remove the plastic cover on the hadele and unclip the elec mirror switch and screws
3.remove the airevents toward the front of the vehicle and
    4. finally u need to unclip the little door lock thing-y by pulling the red tab towards your self and the lock/unlock button shound come off, then simply a matter of removing the trim (be firm as it is held on by clips)

front ones are 5.25 or something, at any rate you'll need to cut the plastic back housing behind them if you want to fit 6.5's

you can either use a hacksaw, or a power drill and steak knife like I did. they'll fit fine after that. window won't bump into it when fully down.
