Vr commodore series II wont go
Hey guys just did a gearbox service on my vr now it goes into gear but revs too 5000 and only moves with minimal power i need help urgently ive got a new job on monday and its not close so i need this car to work im bedazzeld i never heard of this please help it is urgent thanks in advance
When it was serviced,was the new trans filter and filter seal installed properly.Id be removing the pan again and checking that the filter hasnt dropped out of its locating hole..

I'd agree with Brett - it's possible for the seal in the valve body to get dislodged when installing the filter or for it to be forgotten!!. Any leaks around the neck of the filter will make the oil pump suck air which then prevents the servos applying sufficient pressure against the cluches to stop them slipping....which is what your car is doing.
I'd guess the oil level is correct?
