    Question Roadworthy ??

    Hi Guys

Can some one tell me if a vr commodore on 18 inch wheels and super lows will pass a roadworthy ?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Dont see any problems no, how low is the car tho.. There is a limit to where it is illegal and will not pass

Does any one know what the lowest legal height measurement is, when measured from center of the wheel to the top of the wheel arch.

    Default roadworthy

Depends on which state your in, usually 100 mm from exhaust and i think you can only go 2 inches bigger in rim size than factory unless rules have changed??

Hight of the wheel arches has nothing to do with it....as mentioned before it is the 100mm from road to LOWEST point of the vehicle.....well that's in NSW anyway lol

my vk passed a roadie on 18s and superlows so i think it would be all good on a vr ,provided when they jack it up the springs dont fall out and its still at least 100mm from the ground

The extractors on my VS are 3 inches from the ground and its sitting on 18 inch wheels. When I got a roadworthy to change it into my name it passed no worries.

best part to check is either the exhaust or diff (whichever is lowest) as for the wheels there shouldnt be a problem as i got a rwc on my vr with 19s
