Anyone know of a reason why a dash light still wouldnt work even with a new bulb? (the old one was still ok too, but just thought I'd change it anyway) FYI it the high beam light and all the others work fine...

Not to sure, BUT if it's a LED.. they only work one way, so maybe take out the bulb rotate and refit... and try?
All work on a circuit board if copper is broken it wont work .Pull out dash and check for burns

I thought perhaps that, all it had was a score line through the copper where the bulb would have been originally turned into place. Is there some kind of liquid copper or something u can use? Def isnt burnt anywhere.
Not a big issue I guess but one of you guys may one day cop my high beams when I've forgotten they're on!!
