Hey guys, anyone know how 19" 245/40 would go on my VS executive sII? just wonder about heights, camber wear etc, and also are 19"s legal on a VS?

245/40-19 are not legal on a VS in Victoria as they are greater than 15mm difference from the largest tyre offered by the manufacturer for that model

    205/65-15 @ 647mm dia.
    245/40-19 @ 678mm dia.

On a VS, put 235/35R19 or 245/35R19. Nothing bigger than 35. It's illegal and also the tyres rub on the struts on the front and on the inside of the quarter pannels on the back (i've seen this, i've done this, you don't want this).

i had 245x40x19's on my vs statesman which back then was running -3.30" degrees camber rear and - 1.00 degree front and i had bare minimal clearance...not advised but will fit and bolt on...check your alignment specs but because if u have anymore then those specs it will rub the shit outta your car/tyre. I know run -0.30 front and - 2.00 with 245x40x19's and i have no issues and those bumps arent as nasty

245mm is the width of the tyre , the 40 is percent of the 245mm which makes up your side wall height and then r19/r20 etc is rim size followed by your load rating (speed and weight)

245/35/r19 is the only one you can do (legally) and maintain the minimum load rating (92 on my VS).

There are some 235/35/r19s with load ratings of 92 but they're very obscure..

hi on my vr ss im running 245/35/19's on 8" rims on the front and 265/30/19's on 9.5" rims on the rear, the first set of rear rims we tried rubbed so we swaped for a different offset and have no clearance issues at all
