Default vr senator power window problem

ok. im having a problem with the drivers side front power window in my senator, its wierd because when i first jump in the car in the mornings to go to work i wind my window down and then it doesnt seem to wanna come back up, it doesnt matter how low i make it go down it just wont go up, and if i only wind it down a fraction it wont go up or down. but if i leave it for a hour or so it seems to work fine, anyone got any ideas?

My guess is the contact in the switch is pretty much burnt out and concaved. Seen it happen with a few vn-vs switches with age and use. Id be trying a known working switch for the drivers side and see if that fixes it. You can also pull the switch apart to inspect the contacts. Prior to getting it sorted, i'd be avoiding using the drivers window, just incase it decides to stay down at the worst possible time.
    Cheers
