VS Pacemaker Headers

Can someone point me in the right direction do I have to take the motor out to get the drivers side extractor out.
the steering arm(rod)is in the way.

1995 VS Ecotec.. Cheers VN head.

The drivers side is a 2 piece. Remove the weird shaped one. Theirs an image somewhere, but i didnt look for it.

You still need to undo the rack and move it over to get the other part of the extractor out.
