    Default VR V6 auto TO Manual Conversion

    hey guys not to sure if this has been discussed but what would be my better option
    Change the Manual Harness to the VP one i got with my manual conversion or have my memcal reprogrammed to suit manual ?
    right now iv removed the engine light ( bad thing i know ) so i cant see it but now if i remove my battery it will run fine for a week, then a week goes by and then the revs sit at about 1200RPM, then about 2 weeks later the revs will drop down to about 300RPM
    anyone got any suggestions or info that could help me pls

    When i did my converson i changed the engine harness and ecu to suit the manual. The manual harnness wont plug it to your auto ecu.
    do you have the manual ecu for it?

    I got the harness and ecu but their out of a vp exec, am I going to have any dramas changing my the harness cause mines a berlina?

    Dont think so mate mine was a calais and i had no probs there was just a cam sensor that had to be left un hooked because the manual harness didnt need it everything worked fine.

    Apparently there's 2 plugs near the fuse box that might be a pain and need to be re wired, could this be true?

    not that im aware of i didnt have any trouble the should be a black 5 pin and a grey 7 pin plug that goes over near the fuse box might pay to lay your harness out and check off each plug and where they go to see if any will give you trouble. There should be a Alternator, starter and earth wire that gose over to your battery as well the rest will loop around the engine and in to the passager side of the fire wall to the ecu

    Found out my problem the ecu was in limp mode or limf mode? I had all the auto codes turned off an the idle turned down to 850 so all should be good for now
