    Default Bumper is failing :(

I got rear ended in Melbourne when I was down there during Christmas time and now my bumper sags off when it's not mounted... Well, until yesterday. My mate was walking next to my car and accidentally kicked the edge of the bumper, pretty much snapping the mount(ing) point I was using. Have a look at the pics below and, if you feel obliged, help me find another way to mount it.

Undo the screw mounted to the inside of guard and replace the plastic/metal rectangle with a longer bit of plastic or metal. This should allow more grab on the bumper.

Failing that, get inventive with cable ties or screws

See where I put the dots, put the bumper in place and drill however many hole through bumper and chassis and use pop rivets. I did a similar fix on my front bumper. Hope that helps.Bumper is failing :(-nffrzl.jpg

Get a bull bar for the front and a steel step for the back lol.
I'd say the same as Rusty just go with the cable ties they don't break easily.

I am sure that would help, PJ but then I think I would be slightly more inclined to ram into people who are idiots in parking lots. Thanks everybody for their suggestions, I ended up popping it back into the one clip I had left, ripping out the broken one and using that hole to put a couple of cable ties through to various places. No drilling required which was awesome.

    Thanks guys !
