    Whats wrong with it. Mine still goes fine since i converted mine to manual. I dont have the clutch switch so it will rev up if i put the clutch in but i only use mine on the highway when im in the prefered gear anyway.

    Yeah my mate did the same thing, I laughed so hard when he pushed in the clutch and the thing red-lined.But he just hit the brake and it disengages as per usual.

    Some of the boys that frequent the VR section will be able to tell you straight away, so just keep an eye on your post.

    Um, wasn't this answered in the other thread you created? It will work 100% fine as it did when your car was auto. The only thing you need to be aware of is that by depressing the clutch, this will not disengage cruise like it does on later model manual commodores that had cruise fitted as a factory option (no manual vs left the factory with cruise). As is, if you depressed the clutch with cruise engaged the revs would skyrocket as the engine load would suddenly be removed for that respecive throttle position.
    You have 2 options...
    1 - Leave it as is and beware that you'll need to disengage cruise before downshifting etc. or;
    2 - Fit an additional stoplight switch that is operated off the clutch pedal. A link was provided in your other thread on how to do this.

    Holden could still fit it pre-delivery, my old vn 5spd had cruise fitted before my uncle originally took delivery of it

    couldnt ya just install another pedal switch where the clutch is so it disengages when clutch is pressed?, when i installed cruise control in my v6 vs auto i had to jump the plug with a piece of wire for the clutch switch otherwise my cruise control wouldnt work.
