VS V6 cruise control not working!!
hey guys,
recently my fuel gauge was sticking so i hit the dash and the lights went out, all headlights dash lights ect. i found a plug in the kick panel that had come unplugged..
i asked an auto alec what the green wire going into that plug was for and he said it was cruise control wire or something tapped into the plug, now everything is working fine just not cruise control! it worked fine beforehand.
any suggestions ??

check fuses a lose plug can cause spikes that could blow a fuse so check all fuses and make sure the plug it connecting proply

Then you need to check the cruise cutoff switch located above the normal brake switch at the top of the brake pedal....if it has moved (and they do), cruise will not engage as it thinks you have the brakes on. Also check the brake light bulbs.Originally Posted by Macdizzle23
