Default VT auto into a VS?

hey all, i've been a member if this forum for a while and ive only recently found it again. The stock auto in my Series 1 '95 VS BT1 has finally shat itself. My stepbrother has bought a VT S-pack 5spd manual for the parts, and i was wondering if the VT auto would fit in the VS?

Any help would be greatly appreaciated.

    Thanks, FlameFury

Yes it will fit, but you will need to grind away some of the bellhousing as the exhaust will foul on it, torque converters will need to be changed, ECU and PCM will need to be changed as well.
If it's not a Symptom its not relevant, and if its not relevant I don't care!

All depends on how much time you have on you're hands. They are a stronger box then the VS as they have stronger internals and this is why people go through the trouble to put them in. You may also have to do some modification to the wiring harness as I think the VS Plug using a 6 pin and the VT uses a 7 Pin.
