try blowing out the switch with an air compressor if you can. happened to me and that did the trick!

If you have to buy a new one check the length of your wire there are 2 types short and long ones.
If you go holden take your VIN Number and sample just to check length.
Don`t know way. They are very dear from holden.

I replaced one of mine years ago from the wreckers, I just cut the wires and soldered into my wiring and electrical taped up! Still going good!

do as SWE11L said and blow it out and also buy a can of co contactc cleaner from crc and spray it in the gap of the switch and base. dont be afraid to squirt a heap in there.

Sounds like relay C1 make sure it is not locked on by removing it and checking it with meter the reason its slow to go up is it is always trying to go down.
Also turn your car on but don’t start it put your window up turn car off and wait 20 sec or so.
Till the lights turn off on your window switches.
Take out relay C1 half size under steering wheel turn car on put relay back in.
If you hear a click and window goes down the BCM is telling it to go down.
If the window goes down by its self then the relay C1 is at fault.
If you do hear a click from the relay then check the blue wire on the down window switch without pressing it for positive.
If it is postive then your switch is stuffed if is negitive then BCM is the problem or the internal relay inside the BCM as this controls the drivers window down function.
