Just wanting a price check my car

It's a Series 2 VR commodore painted VE purple with a pink pearl (has scratches and stone chips on driverside bottom) its been debadged.. I think it has calais tail lights (been tinted), clear side indicators.. Its lowered(gt gas struts, back pedders touring springs) on 17' VT SS mags
I've recently replaced the engine, Has new Lukey 2.5" Cat back..There is about 7grand worth of receipts including price of car

Few problems with car
-Recently hit a couple of cars (may have damaged something)
-Shocks and Struts most probably need replacing.

At the end of the day mate, all the mods in the world add minimal to no value on a car.
Considering it's age and things need replacing I'd be happy with $2,500 - $3,000 at the most.

How bad is the damage from "hitting a couple of cars".

In good condition, I'd say $1500. I brought a mechanically good, very clean VR for $3 grand in 2004 and I would guess they have dropped a few pennys in that time

Kinda Annoyed about that.. Had someone offering me $1500 w/out running engine.. kinda laughed at him.. now looking at what people are saying... sigh.
I scrapped one think I went up it a bit, Hit a lower rounded curb like thing.. then finally went over onto the island... all rounded curbs though..

Before you off load this car to some poor unsuspecting kid (as that is most likely who would buy it) at least get the car checked out for damage you may have done. Failing that inform any potential purchases of your accidents so they can make an informed choice.

Just think about it this way, how would you feel buying a car only to find out later the seller deceived you?

When I got the tyre fixed, Told mechanic to look over the car.. Told him what I done.. He said nothing to me when he was finished, He might note it down on the bill.. but yeah Ive had it looked at..

I bought this car off eBay he never mentioned about how unsafe the car was.. Never said anything when I picked it up.. so I got to drive a car with cut springs for 300+ K's and the rest of the problems.. Had spent $1500 on Suspension....
So I know how It feels >.<

south aussie car prices are stupid, im thinking 1500-2000, anything inbetween there take it.

I got a mint VR exec thousands spent but wont part with it, ill keep it till i die owes me too much!

Heh. I got offered about 1500 for it when it wasnt running... I spent 1800 to get it running again.. and now offers havnt really changd. D:
Seats have no rips or anything, carpets are fine.. just a couple of stains.. should a good clean wouldnt fix..

I wanna go for a VT or something, I love the car.. Just annoyed ive been spending more money on repairs then anything Id like to get.. :\ sure the engine was somewhat of a upgrade.. but it was deep out the pocket.. could of got new springs, shocks and struts throughout for that..+ more..

personally, id keep it for a few more years and save some extra $$ to go towards the VT.. whos to say you sell this for $2k instant finance the rest of the $$ value upto a VT that you want, and buy a dud car at the end.. least with your car you know what has been done, not what you have been told has been done

My opinion is that which has been stated already, as much as someone is willing to pay. Low k's, clean interiors, billion dollar stereos, almost looking new etc mean nothing. Some VR's are coming close to 20 years old, 20 year old technology and 20 year old safety features or lack of. I'd love to think I could get serveral grand for my VS but that will never happen when you can pick up a VX Calais for 10k with many k's less than most VR/S's, which even still is10 yrs old now.
Just my two cents!
