rocker covers from non ecotec motors onto ecotec - does it work?
Have an ecotec VS with plastic rocker covers , and can get some alloy covers from a friend off a VN 3.8 motor , but i dont know if they bolt straight on or not.. can anybody tell me please?

I know the seals/gaskets are interchangeable so I would say yes you can? Seeing as its from a friend, can't hurt to try one and see if the holes line up. Although the Oil filler cap is on different sides, not sure if this will have any effect or not.
If it's not a Symptom its not relevant, and if its not relevant I don't care!
On the left hand side rocker there will be a hole which is not needed on the ecotec so mine just has a piece of metal glued in to it so the oil and what not comes out haha.
