vr calais 5.0L

Heya peeps I got my series 2 vr calais, decided to do oil change in both transmission and motor, also put a new 1200w sub in too. After the oil change and every thing was done went to take it for a drive it had flat battery, got jumper pack out it started got to the corner of my street all dash lights started coming up,got it home it died tried to start again flat bat again, keep in mind this is a bend new 520cca battery, looked at the fuses under the bonnet and the enginfuse is melting, any ideas would be much appreciated

Check your wiring from the sub. Might not have been done correctly.

Find out why the engine fuse is melting!!! Thats where ur issue will lie. Possibly just a hot wire joint at the base of the connector. You may have to re-terminate the wiring in the fuse base/ or cut the wiring out and just put a 3rd party generic inline fuse in the wiring there.
