hey hey just wondering if its possible to but the auto from a vn/vp commo into a vs? im not a fan on the electronic box and would prefer the vp box, im sure it would bolt to the ecotec, but what about the kick down cable? has anyone done this before cheers? a powerglide would be nice but thats just dreaming lol

Prob not cause of the ecu engine managment. If it was a VR, you might have been able to run a vp ecu and loom on the vr motor and make it work that way. I think it would be possible some how but would be more effort and cost then it would be worth

VP into VS won't work. ECU and loom are completely different for a start.

Its certainly possible and i'm sure its been done before, It will bolt up fine, only thing is it will throw an error light but a reprogrammed memcal will fix that, just use a v8 kick-down cable as it will be longer to fit on the ecotec. you would have to compare throttle body's in regards to attaching it though.
    Power is measured in DECIBEL
