Not sure if this is what you're talking about, but on some of the heavy duty setups i've seen they use additional bracing from the top shock absorber mount in the boot back to the floor.

Depending on the brand, they go diagnally form the boot floor towards the rear forwards and upwards towards the parcel shelf. Wxactly where they attach to differs with each brand of towbar, but the mounting points should have been outlined in the fitting instructions.

The hayman reese should be mounted to the chassis rails of the car not the boot, they are a one piece bar with a tongue on either side with 2 holes for the bolts, how big are the other 2 bars?

The boot support struts go inside the boot. Although you don't need them for the 1200kg bar, only the 2100kg bar.

The reason for the boot supports is to stop the car from kinking at the back doors. It doesn't happen as long as you don't go over the 1200kg limit without the boot supports.
