This is very common for vn-vs seats to lean inwards. What will help alot of this (drivers seat) is to reshape the front left mounting point. This is supposed to be a bit of an s shape with a distincrive step down, but overtime and carrying heavy people etc this tends to flatten out, hence lowering it and the inwards lean.
You need to reshape this bracket. Also check if the floor pan has sagged or cracked near the mounting point.
Cheers

It's normally the passengers side that bends up the most often. --->>> http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...to-middle.html
As for your drivers seat I would say the bottom frame is bent for sure. Take seat out and CRC all the sliders and clean the rails out.
Is the seat flexing on the upright part? If you sit in the back seat and put a hand on each side at the top, can you flex it forward and back? If yes the side mounting allan screws are loose.
Also when fitting dont do any of the bolts up too tight before you have all 4 in. Just a 1/4 turn less then firm. The seat should still slide over the bolts and see if the rails still jam up.

i didnt do them up as tight as i could and yeah it low key flexs i would say its bent, its the back left corner rail thats bent i think (from looking in the back seat) i put threee spaces inbetween and now when adjusting the seat it isnt so jammed up but still looks like its on a lean you can pull it up and down and see how bent it is probably could do with a nother 1 or two spacers to stop it from leaning and a longer bolt. is this safe to do if not do i have to bend it back? thanks
