Default Front of engine leaks coolant.

Ok, so the front of me engine is leaking coolant. I have replaced the water pump gasket and it has not fixed it. Not to sure where it is coming from.. any ideas. Looks close to where the water pump bolts on..

Maybe it's the water pump itself. It has a seal in it that can leak. You might have to change that and see what happens.

under the alternator but above the power steer pump is a steel pipe that goes thru the inside of the belt tensioner pulley, Thats your heater hose, Now on the motor end there is an O-ring that seals it, Replace that dont just check it and use a dab of oil for pushing it back in so you dont split or cut it..

When I have to track down coolant leaks I use a white led spot light and park the car in dark place go over the motor the spot light really lights up any leaks even hair line fractures but you have to the green coolant for it to work

It looks like it's around the water pump area. but it's not that. Can only see it when your under the car.

maybe its just running down the pipes from further away from the waterpump making you think it is the water pump. maybe the heater valve they all seem to perrish after a while.
