Go to your mechanic to check the air bag fault.

airbag light deosnt just mean the airbag may have issues. it could be another problem that uses that light to show a peroblem with the car so you take it to mechanic asap.

Airbag light means the airbag is now isolated and will not work.....this problem is usually caused by turning ignition on when dash is removed....fix is reset light by Holden or a auto elec.
The lifted airbag cover will not affect it's operation.
