Hey all, Im about to put a pair of pedders ultra low rear spring in my irs vr but im not sure if i also need to buy a pair of lowered rear shock absorbers aswell.
Cheers
Dave
you might end up with a broken shock mount if you dont
You will need the lowered shocks to keep the rears trapped for starters, Superlow and under should always have lowered shocks. You can use normal shocks but they will wear out fast and you run the risk of loosing the rear springs going up a driveway or over a speed bump.
What part number are the front springs? as I also want to purchase Pedder Ultra low fronts.
I went superlows with stock shocks for a while. No issues, except the ride was fairly rough because your only using part of the shock absorber travel.
I wouldnt be concerned about the springs falling out though. With my superlows and stock shocks I could only take the springs out with the stabilize bar and lower shock bolt unbolted so I cant see it falling out whilst driving
yeah where abouts can you get cheap springs to lower it . or is it a good idea to cut the springs
