Avo guys!
I have a highly unusual problem with my '94 VR
It only happens around right curves and roundabouts but when you start cornering aggressively, the car will just stop! Engine dies, electrics go dead and IF i keep on the pedal, the car comes back to life nearly a second later and keep running like nothing happened.
If i let the pedal go when it dies, i need to shift into neutral and start the car again.
I have been to Holden and few specialists in holdens round my area but they have NO idea what so ever!
This problem does not surface around left hook curves...
Does anyone on here have a foggiest about what it could be?
Fuel return line in the tank is broken. Rather common problem.
I think will you find that the electrics have nothing to do with it...
Fuel return line? Ok will check it out!![]()
How would that affect the stopping of the engine though? Wouldnt it just cough and act a little funny then die rather than complete shutdown?
but thanks for that!![]()
is this problem happening when you have a full tank of fuel
or just when get below 1/4 or so
also is it a wagon by any chance
Just over half full is when it happens... No its not a wagon, just a normal sedan.
Thanks for the clarification mate! I didnt know they had a catch tank within the tank itself... Hmmm. Well time to get to work!
Thanks again guys!
