    Default Badge removal

It sounds like a question that has been asked a million times but for the life of me I can find it with the search function. My front lion badge on my VS is looking worse for wear so I want to remove and respray it, so it needs to be intact to do so, from what I have heard it is screw there? But I can't see the head... How would one go about removing it in a re usable condition?

I saw that and followed it to debadge the rest of the car but the front is apparently screwed (upon more research riveted maybe?) and as far as I can see I can't find where they talk about how to do they, I may have missed it though.

That is what I was thinking but the problem is how to get that one off, my one isn't cracked so it will just as likely come out the same

It is only stuck their, but it has little plastic pins that sit in slots in your bonnet, i reckon its better to take them off and bog the two holes. It will be hard to get it off without breaking the little tabs

Okay, thanks guys, I will pick up some primmer and spray on the way home tomorrow and if it is anything other than pins I will post back for future reference of searches.

    Thanks again.

ive got a few boot and bonnet badges, they have nothing that is screwed or any pop rivets, just plastic tabs that sit in the holes in boot and bonnet. good luck

sometimes on the vs bonnet is will not have these guide holes.
but even still, trying to take these badges off can be very tricky and you may break it

if you do just get a new one from holden/ebay etc you may need to just cut the tabs off the back if you dont have guide holes on the bonnet. you can do this with a pair of sidecutters. (smaller the better)
how about we make the pedals out of sticky rubber and the shoes with steel spikes. at least my shins would like that
