hope someone has worked out the best way to do this?factory or aftermarket?what dollars are involved compared to fitting a V8 into the beast

^^What he said. Its by far the easiest and most cost effective and the internals will take boost more reliably than supercharging an ecotec

Have a go at the search tool on the forum as it should give you most of the info you're after. This is a pretty common type of question asked thats been covered quite a few times.
Personally, i'll agree with the comments above. I think you'll find doing a complete L67 conversion to be a cheaper and easier option that is more of a 'straight swap' and they are a tough motor with plenty of potential. Whatever way you decide to go though, don't be fooled into thinking this will be a cheap exercise.

An SC14 or an L67 are the best and pretty much only answers to this Topic.

    Woz.

Agreed L67, although i think MACE sell supercharge kits to suit stock standard ecotec's?
If it's not a Symptom its not relevant, and if its not relevant I don't care!
