A second hand LSD with 3.4-3.9s should set you back a few hundred $$ and you can install it pretty easily with basic tools.

I'm talking more to do with the motor? Mods I could put to the motor to improve power.

If you want "noticable" power... that aint gunna happen... although, what is your opinion of "cheap"??

    High ratio rockers: $400-600
    Extractors: $150-400
    Cat back exhaust: $200-250
    cold air intake: $150

The list goes on.... all depends how deep into your pockets you're willing to go?

High ratio rockers: if youre mechanically able... do it yourself, otherwise at an average of $100/hr for a mechanics labour, youre looking at a $200 or more to have a mechanic install them for you.
Extractors and cat back exhaust: there's lots of write-ups, do a search, you CAN do it yourself if its all bolt on type exhaust. otherwise, ring exhaust shops and get quotes...
cold air intake: yourself, you just need to drill holes in the plastic strip above the radiator to line up with the holes in the cold air intake and then use the same push clips you have that hold your boot lining on (I call em christmas tree clips) ... you just might have to shorten the clips if they are a bit long.

No... look at pictures of PODS and factory cold air intakes... COMPLETELY different.

Note: PODS are illegal unless you make a custom airbox around them.

Agreed... a good "CLEAN" high flow panel filter will do just as good!

Yeah but you also said cheap and easy to install.
You probably want to hear about big exhausts and the like, but Ive driven stock 6's with big loud exhausts and I think if anything it slows them down unless your giving it full revs, and guys spend are spending $1000+ on their systems.

Also, Bigger throttle body on a stock engine will give you no gain, just mess with your shift points

They give you better throttle response, and they're washable so they pay themselves off in the long run.

THis is getting silly... have you even tried using the search function here?

Try searching "performance gains from roller rockers" ... as for other mods... search is your friend!

    This post says it all.

The best power-up out all of those by far is the SC14 Supercharger. Strap one on, throw on a Smaller S/C Pulley, and you should achieve 10psi of boost easily. They're cheap little rockets too. $300-500 will get you one complete ready to go, but you may (or will) need to make your own Piping and bracket(s) to fit it.

    Woz.

How about looking at improving you're spelling before starting on engine mods? Are you on you're P's? If so then forget about the SC14 Supercharger. Cops will happily bend you over and give you a thorougher prostate exam with no lube.

Yes I'm on my p's what do you reckon black stig? Super changer is abit to much money and I'll rather but little mods then put the big supercharger in when I get a black license.

Personally if you wanted to do the Supercharger, I would be leaving you're V6 the way it is, getting a short block Ecotec motor and rebuilding it with either L67 bits or more improved performance parts. If you only want to run the SC14, Then I would be going with High Ratio Roller Rockers, a Mild Cam, Extractors with a 2.5" Exhaust, K&N Panel Filter. You will be able to run all that without the Supercharger, You will be able to put the supercharger right on when you get you're blacks and not have to worry about blowing up you're motor I would advise in getting spacer plates for you're heads though. Even though the Buick motor has a lower compression then the Ecotec, I would still advise adding one spacer plate to each head Don't want to be having to much of a high compression.

Sounds good so if I had all that in befor I got my blacks then droped the supercharge in it would be one he'll of a beast. All that stuff is going to cost alot of cash? And would you just go to performce car shop?
