Hi posted in the (Swap / Wanted to Buy / Trade) a couple of weeks ago but it never came up so i will try again.
I'm rebuilding an engine atm to put in my VS now i went to take the crankshaft to get a linish to to told it is f**ked and they showed me why. now im trying to find were i can get another second hand one cheap as possible in Melbourne for a new one i was told around $ 350 and it still needed a linish any help will be great.
hey mate give Steve a call/PM from Mace as he has some brand new cranks, just got one off him and it beats trying to get an old one reground etc
Not sure if it needs to be linished or not
why not just get your old one reground? linishing or micropolishing is only the final stage in process

If you go second hand, try and find a low milage one and therefore likely to be in better nic. I've got a good standard size crank from a vs, but postage to Melb would be a killer. From what I understand, the V6 cranks should not be reground undersize.

How the hell did you bugger up a crankshaft to the point where it can't be reground, good effort.
